What documents do I need to bring to my appointment?

The documents that one needs to bring to their appointment will vary from person to person. For a tax return, we ask that you bring any forms sent to you in the mail labeled "Tax Forms". This could be W-2's, 1099's, and any tax forms from your bank. If you are self employed, please bring a list of your expenses and your income for the year along with an EIN number if you have one. If you have a small business and are an S-Corp, please bring your list of expenses and income for the year. If you are coming in to set up your business as an S-Corp. then you do not need to bring anything.

How can I check the status of my refund?

To check the status of your refund you can go to the irs.gov/refunds and input you social security number, filing status (single, married, head of household), and the amount of your expected refund. It will let you know an exact date that the refund will either deposit into your bank account, or be mailed to you. However, if it is still processing, then you will have to check again later.
